Hi, the Hasty Bride here...

After planning our own traditional-style wedding in 2014, I couldn’t imagine starting our new life together with the weight of financial strain. My then-fiancé and I knew we wanted our day to be a reflection of us, focused on the love we share without the pressure of a large guest list. With the help of our incredible officiant and planner, Vanna, we crafted a day that was truly meaningful and unforgettable.

We chose to have a non-traditional ceremony under the towering Redwoods, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made as a couple. Without the stress of planning a large wedding, we could focus entirely on what truly mattered: our love for one another. Later, after we PCS’d back to our beautiful hometown of Martinsburg, WV, we realized, "This is the perfect place for couples to elope!" And just like that, The Hasty Bride was born. Nearly a decade later, I’ve had the privilege of planning countless meaningful elopements throughout West Virginia, helping couples craft their dream weddings, stress-free. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a traditional celebration, I believe every couple deserves a day that’s uniquely theirs.

Charlie and Harper are my greatest inspirations for continuous learning and growth. They push me to be the best version of myself every day, and I’m beyond grateful for their love, support, and the joyful silliness they bring into my life. To both of you—thank you for being my heart and my reason for it all. Life is sweeter with you by my side.

I also want to thank God for helping me find myself and remain authentic in all that I do. His guidance has been a constant source of strength, helping me stay true to who I am while reaching new milestones.
